Meet Dr. Lischke, MD | Physician
Dr. Aimee Lischke is thrilled to join the Gaudiani Clinic team after over 22 years of compassionate and patient-centered care for her patients in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Dr. Lischke (Dr. L as her patients have come to call her) received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. She graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA, and completed her residency in Family and Community Medicine at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. After many years of primary care practice, Dr. Lischke was encouraged by a colleague to become more educated about the screening and treatment for patients with disordered eating and eating disorders. She found that she enjoyed this work and patient population immensely, and is passionate about working with these individuals and their providers. Dr. Lischke is a co-founder of the Winston-Salem Eating Disorders Coalition which is a community of mental health counselors, dietitians, and medical providers committed to providing informed, inclusive, and compassionate care to patients/clients with eating disorders. Dr. Lischke strives to meet patients where they are, providing HAES-informed, culturally sensitive, and gender-inclusive care while walking alongside patients. As a “recovered fitness professional”, Dr. Lischke now enjoys movement for movement’s sake, as well as reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, four children, and two dogs.
Dr. Lischke will begin seeing patients in April 2022.
